How I tied the knot

My wife and I had been dating for several months and we both knew we were the ones for each other. We had both agreed we were ready for the next step in our relationship, so me being a not so romantic person, I was on the search for the perfect proposal. I had tons of ideas but none of which fit our crazy relationship, and us but it finally came to me. We went ring shopping, (which really made me angry because I had no money to get her what she wanted) but I knew know what she liked. One day shortly after shopping around for rings it was snowing like crazy so I gave her a ride to work, After I dropped her off, a lady backed into my car and took off so I jumped out and chased her down, but to make it short, I got a check from her insurance company to fix my car. I new this would be the only time I could afford to get her the ring she wanted without going in tons of debt. So I shopped around and found and bought the ring that was totally her, clean and clear. Valentines was right around the corner and I was dropping all these hints as if I were proposing on Valentines Day. Valentines came and it was so romantic and awesome but I held out because I new she thought I was doing it that day. Two days later, we were on our way to a little lunch in type of gig, I picked her up, and on the way, there I told her that I was starving and needed to grab a taco at Taco Bell. We got in, ordered, and ate at our little spot. As we were eating, I pretended to drop a hot sauce packet on the ground so I bent over to pick it up. Very sly like I switched the packet with one I had previously found and when I made the switch I said, “Look.” While I was still on the ground and I handed her the packet that reads “WILL YOU MARRY ME”. Then on my knees, in Taco Bell, during the lunch hour I asked if she would be my girl. She said yes. Me being so smart and not wanting the ring to have an affect on her choice I waited until she said yes to show her the ring and when I put it on, I was still so nervous I accidentally put it on the wrong finger. We to this day are still madly in love and have not looked back once on our choice to be wed. We also still love taco bell even though they remodeled it and took out our special little section. Thanks for this awesome idea and hope you enjoyed the mini version of our engagement.
