On the morning of June 4th, 2008 I was supposed to be meeting my boyfriend Cory at his house because we were going to go and look for a new truck for him. When I got to his house he told me that he wanted to go drive up to Mink-Creek and see if the gate was open yet. So we head up there and sure enough the gate is open and we decide to drive in there and look around. We get about a mile into it and he decides that we need to turn around because of how muddy it was and the fact that it was still raining. So we turn around and he pulls off to the side of the road and turns off his truck. He then starts talking about our fishing trip that we were planning on taking that weekend at Chesterfeild Resivor. He goes on to tell me that his friend Danny told him about a lure that is guaranteed to catch any fish, I was thinking to myself whatever, he then told me that he bought him one and his mom told him that he should buy me one also since I was always buying him stuff, so then he looks at me and asks me if I want it, I told him duhh, so he pulls out this lure box and hands it to me upside down, when I turn it over inside is my ring and not a lure, he then looks at me and asks me if I want to be Hooked for Life. I instantly started crying and still to this day we are not sure if I ever said yes or not. We were married 2 months later and are now going on 6 months of being married and could not be happier.
