REXBURG — Taylor Christine Ballard and Darren H. Hymas have chosen to be married on Friday, Sept., 3, 2010, in the Rexburg, Idaho Temple.

    Taylor is the daughter of Rudey and Kelly Ballard and Jeff and Faith Jacbosen. Darren is the son of Rob and Peggy Hymas. Taylor was a graduate of Madison High School in 2009, and is employed at Gringos in Rexburg. Darren graduated from Sugar City High School in 2007, and is now working at Golden West Irrigation, and is finishing his schooling to become a licensed electrician.

    There will be a reception held that evening at the Henry's Fork Stake Center (2010 North 3000 West, Rexburg, Idaho), from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

    The happy couple is registered Walmart and Beehive Credit Union.

POCATELLO — Larry and Amy Gunn are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amber Lynne Gunn, to Jonathan Richard Larsen, son of Richard and Terry Larsen.

    A ceremony will take place on Sept. 4th, 2010, at the Gunn residence, 11812 N. Nelson Lane Pocatello, Idaho 83202, with a reception at 6 p.m. to celebrate with friends and family.    

    The bride is a 2007 graduate of Highland High school, attended Idaho State University, and is currently employed at Idaho Central Credit Union.

    The groom is a 2008 graduate of Century High school, attended Idaho State University, and is currently employed at Qwest Communications.

    The couple plans to further their education, travel, and live happily ever after.

Richard and Kathy Kirkham are pleased to announce the marriage of their son, Richard Christian, to Elyssa Jean Squires, daughter of Brad and Lori Squires, Las Vegas, Nev. The couple was married July 30, 2010, at the LDS Temple in St. George, Utah.

    Chris served in the Ukraine Donets’k Mission. He studied journalism at BYU-Idaho and graduated in 2009. During his studies, he also spent a semester abroad in Jerusalem. He is working for a marketing firm in American Fork, Utah.

    Elyssa grew up in Las Vegas, Nev. She studied English at BYU-Idaho, where she was involved with the university newspaper. She graduated July 23, 2010. She will be working this fall with the New Era magazine in Salt Lake City, Utah.

    The couple honeymooned in Israel and Ukraine. They will be living in Salt Lake City.

POCATELLO — David and Toni Garz, Ashton, Idaho, announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kate Garz, to Dustin Nordquist, son of Randy and Teresa Nordquist, Pocatello, Idaho.

    The couple was married Saturday, Aug. 28 at the Stonefly Lodge in Ashton, Idaho, at 3 p.m. The reception followed the wedding.

    The bride is a 2004 graduate of North Fremont High School. She graduated from Idaho State University’s radiographic science program in 2009. She is employed by Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center and the Pocatello Women’s Correctional Center.

    The groom is a 2000 graduate of Century High School. He graduated in 2007 from Idaho State University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and mass communications, with an emphasis in advertising and public relations. He is the advertising and marketing manager for AMS Inc.

    The couple resides at their home in Pocatello with their beasts, Sophie and Cosmo.

Louis and Marla Dredge are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Anneleise Blanche, to Steven Kleal Atkinson, son of Mike and Lisa Atkinson. The couple will be married Aug. 20, 2010, in the Logan, Utah, temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

    Both Steve and Anneleise are 2005 graduates of Malad High School, where they were co-salutatorians together. Steve was active in track, cross country and basketball, while participating in student government. Anneleise was active in the drill team, swing choir and drama department.

    Anneleise is a 2009 graduate of Brigham Young University-Idaho, where she majored in elementary education. Steve served two years as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Argentina-Cordoba mission. He is currently pursuing a duel degree in entrepreneurship and management human resources at Utah State University while running long distance for the university’s track and cross country teams.

POCATELLO — Gino and Liz Piva and Jodie and Steve Geiger, of Pocatello, Idaho, are pleased to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Tiffany Piva, to Samuel Olsen, son of Edwin and Cheryl Olsen, of Pingree, Idaho.

    The couple will be married at the same location where the groom proposed, Pebble Creek Ski Area, on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, at 6:30 p.m., hillside, with a reception to follow at the lodge.

    The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate from Century High School and is employed by the City of Pocatello’s Legal Department. The groom-to-be is a 1997 graduate from Snake River High School and is employed at the INL, Naval Reactor Facility.

    The couple enjoys fishing, camping, hunting and skiing — just about anything they can do with their golden retriever, Ruby.  

    Sam and Tiffany will continue to reside happily in Pocatello, where they are surrounded by family and friends.

POCATELLO — Rick and Alene Keller of Pocatello and John Pinkerton and Ms. Joan Pinkerton of Omaha, Neb., announce the forthcoming marriage of Riley J. Keller and Jennifer Ann Pinkerton.

    The couple will be married Saturday, Aug. 21, in the Winter Quarters LDS Temple in Omaha.  

    Jennifer, a 2007 graduate of Burke High School, attended two years at the Metro Community College in Omaha. She participated in volleyball, basketball and ran hurdles in track. She is currently finishing her studies in business management at Utah State University in Logan.

    Riley, a 2006 graduate of Highland High School, where he played varsity basketball, is an Eagle Scout and served a two-year mission in Guatemala for the LDS Church. He has been attending Idaho State University.  

    A reception will be held in their honor the following Friday, Aug. 27 at the Keller residence, 5215 Whitaker Road, Chubbuck, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

POCATELLO — Wendy Nugent of Sterling and Tom Havlicak of Idaho Falls announce the marriage of their daughter, Chelsy Havlicak, to Turan Harten, son of Jim Harten of Pocatello and Diane Adamson of Iowa.

    Turan graduated in 2000 at DCLUW High School in Iowa. He attended Idaho State University and graduated with a bachelor in business management. He is currently helping run his family business Harten Exteriors in Pocatello.

    Chelsy graduated Aberdeen High School in 2003. She attended Idaho State University and graduated with a bachelor of fine arts. She is currently helping run her family business at Idaho Grimm Growers in Blackfoot.

    The couple enjoys skiing, river rafting, camping, hiking, horseback riding, and wallyball. They recently built a new house and reside in Pocatello.

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Jessica Miller and Todd Crane were married on August, 21, 2010, at Heinz Memorial Chapel on the University of Pittsburgh campus, Pittsburgh, Pa., Stake President Brennen Murray of the Pittsburgh, Pa., stake officiated the double-ring ceremony.

    The bride is the daughter of Don and Debbie Miller of Johnstown, Pa. The groom is the son of Steven and Karen Crane of Pocatello, Idaho.

    The couple met in New York City. The bride currently works as a Project Manager for Averion International Corp. and the groom as a Surgical Phaco Specialist for Abbott Medical Optics. They plan on residing in Newport Beach, Calif.

    Danica was born in Columbus, Georgia. She grew up in a military family and ended up in Hawaii. Danica graduated from  Leilehua High School in 2008. She is currently attending BYU-Hawaii also working on on Bachelor’s degree in English to pursue writing.

    Both enjoy surfing, writing, reading and movie watching. Jake and Danica will be sealed in the LDS Kona Hawaii Temple on Aug. 24, 2010. The couple will be living in Hawaii to finish their education.
